Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Dasar is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be original works and free from any form of plagiarism.

1. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the use of ideas, data, words, or structures from other sources without proper acknowledgment. This policy covers all forms of plagiarism, including direct plagiarism, partial plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and inappropriate or manipulated citation practices.

2. Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or other equivalent tools before entering the peer-review process.

3. Similarity Threshold

• The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.

• High similarity from a single source that indicates potential plagiarism is not acceptable, even if the overall similarity score is within the threshold.

4. Actions on Plagiarism

• Manuscripts exceeding the allowed similarity threshold or showing evidence of unethical citation practices will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity of the case.

• If plagiarism is identified after publication, the Editorial Board has the right to take appropriate actions, including article retraction, correction, or public notification in accordance with ethical standards.

5. Author Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their manuscripts and must ensure that all sources are properly cited and referenced according to the journal’s guidelines.

6. Compliance with Publication Ethics (COPE)

Jurnal Pengabdian Irsyadedu adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All cases of suspected plagiarism and publication misconduct will be handled following COPE’s guidelines and flowcharts to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in the publication process.
